  It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid out of the first money that comes into the hands of my executors…

  I give and bequeath to my daughters, Louisa Baker and Augusta Barlag, my two feather beds.

  It is my will that all of my estate both real and personal except as provided in article two, be appraised by two disinterested householders in the county to be selected by my executor at its fair cash value and that my said estate One Hundred and Sixty Dollars be set aside for my son August Zach to be held as will be provided in a succeeding item and that the residue of my estate be equally divided among my children hereafter to be named on the condition and provisions hereinafter to be set forth.

  I give devise and bequeath unto Fredrick A Hausheer and his successors my house and lot... in LaPorte Co, held in trust for my son August Zach, to be occupied by him for and during his natural life or so long as he shall pay the taxes and other liens of legal assessments against said property, and in the event said liens or assessments are not paid, then in that event it will be lawful for the said trustee to take possession of said premises and rent the same and pay said taxes or other legal assessments and his expenses in so doing and giving the balance to my said son, and if said property above described does not amount to one fifth of my estate after my expenses and debts together with One Hundred and Sixty Dollars is deducted, then in that even my executor will set aside for my trustee sufficient money to make said deficit good and said money together with the One Hundred and Sixty Dollars shall be loaned by my said trustee for the use and benefit of the said August Zach and after the decease of my said son, said property shall descend in fee simple to the lawful descendants of my son, share and share alike, if any be living, and if not to the brothers and sisters of August Zach living at the time of his decease.

  I give, devise and bequeath unto Fredrick A Hausheer and his successors the one fifth of my estate both real and personal except as otherwise bequeathed to have and to hold in trust nevertheless for my daughter Augusta Barlag and the said trustee is directed to loan to Augusta Barlag the amount she may be owing on her house and lot at the time of my decease without interest to be paid by her at her election and to invest the residue of her share if any in mortgage loan at not less than 33 ⅓% valuation interest payable annually to the said trustee and after all legal expenses of said trust are paid the residue is to be paid of said income to Augusta Barlag. And after the decease of my daughter, the said trustee or his successors is to collect all of said trust fund and divide the same among the lawful descendants of Augusta Barlag or if none be living to her brothers and sisters, then living in equal shares.

  I give, devise and bequeath to Fredrick A Hausher and this successors one fifth of my estate both real and personal not otherwise disposed of in trust nevertheless for my daughter Louisa Baker to be invested by said trustee on mortgage loan at not less than 331/3% valuation and the interest to be paid annually to my daughter after necessary expenses and taxes are paid by said trustee and after the decease of my said daughter, the said trust fund is to be divided equally among the lawful descendants of my said daughter if living and if not, then in that event to my children herein named, that may be living at time of her decease share and share alike.

  I give devise and bequeath one fifth of my estate that I may be seized of and not otherwise disposed of to my son John Zach to have and to hold absolute and in fee simple.

  I give, divise and bequeath one fifth of my estate that I may have at the time of my decease and not otherwise disposed of to my son William Zach.

  It is my will that my said trustee heretofore named and by me appointed and his successors in office be required to give equal to the amount coming into his or their hands.

  I hereby appoint Fredrick A Hausheer executor of this my Last Will and Testament.

  In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 11th day of January AD1896.
